Potassium magnesium sulphate, 1 kg, Baltic Agro
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
A chemically unprocessed fertiliser for crops with a high demand for potassium, magnesium and sulphur. The nutrients are present as sulphates, water-soluble and immediately available to the plant. Approved for organic growing.
Potassium is what decides flavour and keeping quality: it helps fruit ripen evenly, brings out aroma and sweetness, and makes the crop store better. Magnesium is the heart of chlorophyll — without it the older leaves yellow between the veins even though the plant is otherwise well fed.
Suits tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, perennials and annuals, fruit trees, roses and conifers. On grapevines it helps the canes ripen.

Advice from our agronomist
Spread in spring together with the base fertiliser and work it in — the effect is long-lasting, a "quiet" potassium.
Feed grapevines once or twice from August: it helps the canes ripen before winter and improves hardiness.
If older leaves yellow between the veins while the veins stay green, that is magnesium deficiency — this is the fertiliser for it.
Do not confuse it with muriate of potash: strawberries, raspberries and blueberries do not tolerate chloride, while the sulphate form is safe for them.
Keep it dry: fertiliser that takes up moisture cakes.
