About this product
Good old chicken manure, but without the smell, the flies and the guesswork about how much to use. Dried and pressed into granules, it is an organic fertiliser that feeds the plant and improves soil structure at the same time — something a chemical fertiliser does not do.
Organic matter works slowly: the nutrients are released as soil life breaks the granule down. So it does not scorch roots the way an overdose of mineral fertiliser does, and it works all season.
The 10-litre bag is for a large vegetable garden or for feeding all the beds in spring.

Advice from our agronomist
Work the granules into the soil and water — on a dry surface they do not break down and the smell can come through.
Do not put granules directly under the roots in a planting hole: leave a layer of soil between.
Chicken manure is high in nitrogen. Give root crops — carrots, beetroot — a moderate dose, or the growth goes into the tops.
No nitrogen in the second half of summer: fruit trees and berry bushes must ripen their wood before winter.
It also works well to liven up a compost heap: a handful between the layers speeds decomposition.
