Fitting. Press the rose onto the spout of the can until it sits tight. If it wobbles, check that the spout and rose diameters match.
Use. Tilt the can slowly so the water falls as an even rain. Hold the can low over small seedlings so the drops do not damage them.
Cleaning. After use, rinse the rose with clean water. Clear blocked holes with a soft brush or a needle without scratching the plastic.
