About this product
Greenhouse film — film for covering a greenhouse or tunnel, with very high light transmission and UV resistance. UV resistance is the key point: ordinary film turns brittle in a single summer and tears, while UV-stable film lasts for years.
Under film the air and soil warm up, so tomato, cucumber and pepper reach a crop within our summer. The same film also serves as a spring tunnel over a bed when there is no room left in the greenhouse.
Size 2,4 × 10 m, that is 24 m². Made by Baltic Agro, produced in Estonia.

Advice from our agronomist
Stretch it on a warm day. Put the film on in sunshine: it stretches in the warmth and contracts when cool, so the cover sits smooth without sagging.
Fasten the edges tightly. Film does not tear in the middle but where a loose edge flaps in the wind — fix the edges with battens or clips.
Ventilate every day. On a sunny day the temperature under film quickly climbs past what plants can take: leave a door or an edge open.
