Plant tie tape, hook-and-loop, 10 mm × 5 m, Baltic Agro

About this product
Plant tie tape — a soft hook-and-loop tape for tying a shoot to its support. The tape grips itself, so no knot is needed and it comes undone in one movement.
It earns its place where string does damage: tomato, cucumber, pepper, a young tree on a stake. The tape is wide and soft, so it does not cut into the stem and gives way as the shoot thickens.
Roll of 10 mm × 5 m, green. Made by Baltic Agro.

Advice from our agronomist
Tie in a figure of eight. Loop the tape around the support and the stem in a figure of eight — that keeps the stem from rubbing on the support.
Leave some slack. The tape should sit loosely: a tight tie marks a stem as it thickens.
Check as it grows. Look the ties over every couple of weeks and loosen them if needed — shoots thicken fast.
