Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball, plant at the same depth as in the pot, then water well and mulch.
Care Water regularly in dry spells during the first year. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring, remove dry or frost-damaged shoots and shape the shrub if needed.
Use Works as a specimen and a focal point in large flowering groups. It blooms on old wood, so prune after flowering.
