About this product
Coconut coir pellets AGRONOM 35 mm, 12 pcs are dry compressed coir tablets for germinating seeds and rooting cuttings. When soaked, the pellet swells and works as pot and growing medium in one.
Coir is a clean, mineral-enriched substrate free of pathogens; according to the manufacturer, Trichoderma fungus develops in it and holds back disease-causing fungi. Planting out together with the pellet does not damage delicate roots.
The pack contains 12 pellets of 35 mm diameter; barcode 4770168880238. Suitable for raising seedlings on a windowsill, in a greenhouse or on a propagation bench.

Advice from our agronomist
Use. Place the pellets in a shallow tray and pour warm water over them until fully expanded. Pour off any excess water.
Sowing and cuttings. Sow seeds into the hollow on top of the pellet or insert a cutting; cover seeds with a thin layer of substrate. Keep the tray in a bright, warm place.
Watering. Keep the pellet evenly moist but never standing in water. Water from below or with a mister so the seeds are not washed out.
Transplanting and storage. Plant the seedling together with the pellet straight into the ground or a larger pot, so the roots are not disturbed. Keep unused dry pellets in a dry place.
