Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in early spring (April–May) directly in place, as poppies dislike transplanting. The seeds are tiny – sow on the surface, press lightly and thin to 20–25 cm.
Care Undemanding – grows even in poor soil, in sun or part shade. Removing spent flowers keeps the display going.
Use Beds, mixed groups, flowering lawns; cut the flowers in bud and use the seed heads in dried arrangements.
