Cucumber "Rodniciok Natur F1" (Cucumis sativus) is a mid-early, very productive hybrid for outdoors and greenhouses. The packet holds 0.5 g of seed from the Lithuanian producer Nojaus sėklos. Buy "Rodniciok Natur" cucumber seeds in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.
The first cucumbers are ready about 50 days after sowing. Fruit is 10–12 cm long, with large warts and black spines. Even in an unheated greenhouse it yields 15–17 kg per square metre.
The hybrid is resistant to powdery mildew and leaf spot. Eat fresh or use for pickling and fermenting.

Agronomo patarimai
Planting. Raise seedlings in April–May in peat pots, 1.5–2.5 cm deep, at 24–28 °C to germinate. Sow or plant outdoors after the last frost, when the soil is at least 14–15 °C, about 80 × 20 cm apart.
Watering and feeding. Water with warm water in the morning, regularly and evenly – drought makes fruit bitter and crooked. From the start of flowering feed every 10–14 days with a potassium-rich vegetable fertiliser.
Care. In a greenhouse train the vines up supports or strings; outdoors cover them with fleece at night for the first weeks. Mulch the soil to keep roots moist and fruit clean.
Gardener's tip. Pick often, ideally every day – young fruit tastes best and frequent picking keeps new fruit coming.
