The Square spade with handle is a digging spade with a straight square blade, wooden shaft and D-grip for digging beds, cutting edges and making planting holes.
Overall length is about 114 cm, the blade is about 21 cm wide and about 29 cm high. The shaft is wooden with a black plastic D-grip for a secure hold.
The straight edge is ideal for cutting lawn and bed edges, digging trenches and planting holes and turning over soil.

Agronomo patarimai
Use. For digging beds, cutting lawn and bed edges, making planting holes and turning over soil.
How to use. Set the blade vertically, press down on its top edge with your foot and tilt the handle towards you. Do not lever out large stones or roots — the shaft may break.
Care and storage. Clean soil off the blade after use, dry it and oil it lightly. Store the spade in a dry place and keep the shaft out of the rain.
Gardener’s tip. Dig heavy clay soil in autumn — winter frost breaks up the clods and the soil is easier to work in spring.
