Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant in full sun in very free-draining, gritty or stony soil. Add grit or gravel to the planting hole.
Watering and feeding. Water sparingly and only in dry weather – standing water is dangerous. No feeding needed.
Care. Mulch around the crown with fine gravel to keep it dry. Remove spent flower heads.
Winter. Overwinters well in dry soil. Winter wet is a bigger danger than frost.
