Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant after the last frosts in a sunny spot in well-drained, lean soil; space plants 30 cm apart in a container or bed.
Watering Water sparingly and moderately, letting the soil dry out between waterings; excess moisture causes rot.
Pruning Pinch the shoot tips to keep the plant dense and rounded.
Feeding and winter care Feed very lightly, for example at half strength once a month; too much food makes the plant loose. Frost-tender; grown as an annual in Estonia, or overwinter in a bright, cool room (5–10 °C).
