Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in part shade in fertile, moist, humus-rich soil. Space plants 60–90 cm apart.
Watering Keep the soil constantly moist; water generously in dry spells, as the leaves wilt quickly in the sun.
Pruning Cut off faded flower stems and damaged leaves; protect young leaves from slugs.
Feeding and winter care Feed in spring with compost or an organic fertiliser; once more in summer if needed. Overwinters without cover; cut back dry stems in autumn.
