Tree glue band, 250 g, Baltic Agro

About this product
Glue band — a green natural wax applied as a ring around the trunk, catching every insect that climbs up it: winter moth, ants, nut weevil, bark beetle, cherry aphid.
The glue is made of natural and fossil-origin substances and plant oils, is compostable and harmless to the tree. It does not dissolve in water, so rain does not wash it off. The green colour is deliberate: trials show such a band does not attract beneficial insects — only those trying to cross it get caught.
Pack of 250 g. Made by Baltic Agro, produced in Germany.

Advice from our agronomist
Make the ring unbroken. Spread the glue around the trunk in a 5-10 cm band with no gaps: one free spot and the whole job is wasted.
Apply in autumn. Female winter moths climb the trunk in late autumn — the band should be in place before the first frosts.
Watch the band. Once the glue is covered with leaves and insects it stops catching: wipe it clean and apply a fresh layer.
