SUMIN trap glue 200 ml is a non-drying insect glue for making sticky bands on tree trunks and glue traps. The sticky layer stops ants, caterpillars, overwintering moths and other crawling pests before they reach the crown. Buy SUMIN trap glue in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.
The glue stays tacky for a long time, even in rain and sun, and contains no insecticides – pests are caught mechanically. A good choice for fruit trees and berry bushes where you want to avoid chemical sprays.
Use it in spring before bud break against ants and caterpillars, and in autumn against overwintering pests such as female winter moths. SUMIN is a Polish maker of garden products.

Agronoma ieteikumi
Planting. To make a sticky band, wrap a 10–15 cm wide strip of paper or film around the trunk about 1–1.5 m up and seal the top edge so pests cannot crawl underneath. Do not apply glue directly to the bark of young trees.
Watering and feeding. Spread the glue with a spatula or stick in an even layer about 2–3 mm thick. Watering and feeding play no role here – what matters is a continuous glue layer with no gaps.
Care. Check the band every 2–3 weeks: remove trapped insects, leaves and dust, and add fresh glue if needed. Remove the bands with the trapped pests after the season.
Gardener's tip. Bands put up in autumn (from late September) catch wingless female winter moths climbing the trunk to lay eggs, greatly reducing caterpillar damage in spring.
