Apie prekę
Lilies (Lilium) are large, showy and often fragrant summer flowers that bring colour and height to the border. This listing is for lilies in assorted varieties – the variety and colour depend on current availability. Buy lilies in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.
Depending on the group and variety, lilies flower from June to August. The blooms are trumpet-, star- or turk's-cap-shaped, in colours from white and yellow to orange, pink and deep red. Stems usually reach 60–150 cm.
Lilies are perennials: the bulb stays in the ground and sends up new stems every year. They suit flower beds, mixed plantings, containers and cutting.

Agronomo patarimai
Planting. Plant in a sunny spot where water does not stand – lily bulbs rot in wet soil. Set bulbs at a depth of 2–3 times their height; plant a potted lily at the same depth it grew in the pot.
Watering and feeding. Water moderately in dry spells, especially while buds form. Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring and a potassium-rich one after flowering so the bulb builds strength.
Care. Remove faded flowers but leave stems and leaves until autumn – they feed the bulb. Check plants for lily beetle and pick the beetles off by hand.
Gardener's tip. Lilies like "head in the sun, feet in the shade": plant low perennials in front of them to shade the soil. Mulch the planting spot with peat or compost in autumn.
