Lupinus polyphyllus "Festival", 9 cm pods
Pārdevējs: ALLIKASILM
Par preci
Lupinus polyphyllus "Festival" is a garden lupin and a compact colour mix with candle-like spikes in various shades. Buy lupin "Festival" in Estonia from ALLIKASILM — an easy-to-grow perennial in a 9 cm pot.
It is shorter than standard lupins — about 60 cm — so it suits small gardens and large containers; flowers in June–July. Lupins fix nitrogen from the air with the help of root-nodule bacteria and improve the soil.
Perfect for borders, cottage and country gardens, small plots and for cutting. The flowers attract bumblebees and bees.

Agronoma ieteikumi
Planting. Plant in a sunny spot in light, free-draining soil, 40–50 cm apart. Lupins have a deep taproot and dislike being moved later.
Watering and feeding. Water after planting and in dry spells. No nitrogen fertiliser or fresh manure is needed — the lupin fixes its own nitrogen. If needed, add a little potassium and phosphorus fertiliser in spring.
Care. Cut off faded spikes straight away — lupins often rebloom in late summer and will not self-seed everywhere. Stake tall spikes in windy spots.
Overwintering. A hardy perennial. Cut the stems down in autumn. Lupins are fairly short-lived, so renew the planting every few years.
