Yellow loosestrife (Lysimachia punctata) "Golden Alexander" is a variegated perennial with green leaves broadly edged in golden yellow and starry yellow flowers in summer. Buy Lysimachia "Golden Alexander" in Estonia from ALLIKASILM — a decorative perennial all season, in a 1 L pot.
It grows to about 50–75 cm and flowers in July–August, with the flowers held in the leaf axils near the top of the stems. It is less vigorous than the plain green species, so it suits smaller borders too.

Care. Cut back faded stems to keep the clump tidy. If it spreads too much, divide it in spring or autumn.
Overwintering. A hardy perennial. Cut the top growth down in autumn if you wish; it regrows from the roots in spring.
