Advice from our agronomist
Use. Spread the fertiliser in an even layer over the soil and mix it in at planting or around growing plants; for bushes cover the area of the branch spread.
Rates and timing. Exact rates are given on the pack. Main feed in spring as growth starts; strawberries also after harvest.
Storage and safety. Keep dry in the closed pack, out of reach of children and animals. Apply only when needed and do not exceed the recommended rates.
Agronomist's tip. Strawberries form next year's flower buds in July and August, so feeding after harvest boosts the following summer's crop. Do not give berry bushes nitrogen after mid-July.
