Strawberry mulch film, black, 1,2 × 10 m, Baltic Agro
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Strawberry mulch film — black mulch film for the strawberry bed. Under it the soil keeps its moisture, the ground warms faster in spring and the plant reaches fruiting earlier.
A bed under film stays free of weeds, and just as important — the berries stay clean at picking because they never touch soil. The film is UV-resistant and lasts outdoors for a whole season.
Size 1,2 × 10 m, that is 12 m². Made by Baltic Agro, produced in Estonia.

Advice from our agronomist
Lay it at planting time. The film goes onto a prepared bed before planting; then cut crosses and plant through them — it cannot be spread between plants that are already growing.
Anchor the edges. Hold the edges down with soil or staples: a loose edge is lifted by the first gust.
Water underneath. Rain does not pass through black film, so lay the drip line under it before planting.
