Mandevilla (Dipladenia) Mandevilla ‘Sundaville’ – a trailing or climbing plant flowering abundantly from early summer until frost.
A trailing or climbing plant with abundant large trumpet flowers from early summer until frost. Suits hanging baskets, a trellis or support, and terraces as a summer plant; overwinters indoors.
Sold as a container-grown plant (17 cm pot); it can be planted throughout the growing season.

Planting Plant out after the last frost (late May) in a sunny or bright part-shaded, sheltered spot in nutrient-rich, free-draining compost; in a container with a support.
Watering Water regularly and generously during flowering, letting the top layer dry between waterings; avoid standing water.
Pruning Shorten shoots by a third in spring for more flowering side shoots; remove faded flowers.
Feeding and winter care Feed every 1–2 weeks during flowering with a flowering-plant fertiliser. Does not overwinter outdoors: move to a bright, cool (12–15 °C) room before frost and water sparingly.
