About this product
Matogard BIO seed compost 10 L is a growing medium for sowing seeds, pricking out and raising young plants. The compost is approved for organic production and meets EU regulation (EU) 2021/1165.
It contains peat neutralised with dolomite flour and enriched with fertilisers, horse manure compost, vermicompost, sand, a humic preparation and organic fertilisers. Humic substances speed up germination and the growth of a strong root system.

Advice from our agronomist
Use. Fill the tray or pot with compost, level the surface and leave 1–2 cm to the rim. Sow seeds at the depth given on the seed packet and cover with a thin layer of compost.
Dosage. Keep the compost evenly moist but not waterlogged. Prick out seedlings once the first true leaves appear, using the same compost.
Storage. The compost carries fertiliser only for the early stage; as plants grow, add feed as needed or move them into a richer substrate.
Safety and environment. Store the bag in a dry, cool place and close an opened bag tightly. The compost is organic; wash hands after handling.
