Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Position: sun to part shade. Soil: moist, never allowed to dry out. Plant in spring or early autumn at the same depth it grew in the pot, then water in well.
Care. Never let the soil dry out; water often. A balanced fertiliser can be given in spring; remove spent flower stems.
Winter. Winter hardiness is limited in our climate: choose a sheltered, well-drained spot and cover the plant for winter.
