Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant from April to September, 40 cm apart. Water the pot thoroughly before planting and let the root ball soak.
Position Choose a sunny or semi-shaded spot and fertile, moist soil.
Care Water regularly; the soil must stay moist. Mint spreads by runners – contain it by planting in a tub or a pot sunk in the ground. Divide the plants every 3 years.
Feeding and harvest Feed with compost in spring. Pick the leaves from June to September, the aroma is best before flowering; cut the stems back to 5 cm in autumn. Hardy, mulch if needed.
