About this product

The 2 in 1 Soil Moisture and pH Meter is a simple garden tool that measures both soil moisture and acidity (pH) with a single probe. It suits flower pots, garden beds, greenhouses and lawns.

Push the probe into the soil and read the value from the scale, so you can water and feed according to what the plants actually need. It helps avoid both over- and under-watering and lets you match plants to soil pH (rhododendrons, for example, need acidic soil).

The device is compact and ready to use. Insert the probe to root depth when measuring and wipe it with a dry cloth after use.

Advice from our agronomist

Use. Insert the probe into the soil at root depth and wait until the reading settles. Measure in several spots to get a reliable average.

Choosing. Use the meter before watering and feeding. Plants of acidic soils (rhododendrons, blueberries) need pH 4.5–5.5; most vegetables prefer pH 6–7.

Care. Wipe the probe clean with a dry cloth after each measurement; do not force it into stony soil or bend it.

Storage. Store in a dry, clean place away from direct sun and frost.
