About this product
Chives Bohemia (Allium schoenoprasum) is a perennial herb with fine hollow leaves and pink-lilac flower heads, perfect fresh in summer dishes.
With chive seeds you get a bed that gives greens every year: sow in spring into the ground or a pot, keep the soil moist and cut the leaves about three centimetres above the base so they regrow quickly. Also good on a windowsill or balcony box.

Sowing Sow April–May about 1 cm deep and thin to 10–15 cm.
Care Water regularly and cut often; remove flower stems to keep leaves tender. Divide the clump every few years.
Use Fresh on sandwiches, in salads, soups, with potatoes and cottage cheese; the flowers are edible.
