Agronomo patarimai
Use. For gathering fallen leaves, grass clippings, old plant debris and light litter from lawns, beds, under shrubs and from paths.
How to use. Hold the rake at a slight angle and pull it towards you in long, even strokes. Rake the leaves into a pile and lift them into a bag, wheelbarrow or compost bin.
Care and storage. Clean leaves and soil off the tines after work. Store the rake in a dry place, tines up or hung on a wall, so the tines do not bend.
Gardener’s tip. Clear leaves from the lawn before winter — under a thick layer of leaves the grass cannot breathe and may get diseased. Healthy leaves make good leaf mould.
