About this product
Osteospermum "Senorita Kiki" (Osteospermum) is a Cape daisy with yellow petals and a burgundy centre.
It flowers abundantly and for a long time, from May until frost, opening its blooms in sunshine. Lovely in containers, balcony boxes and beds.
It likes sun and well-drained soil. It does not overwinter outdoors in Estonia: grow it as an annual or overwinter it in a cool bright room.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant after the last spring frost in a sunny place. Use light, fertile, well-drained soil; in containers use multipurpose compost with drainage. Space plants 25–30 cm apart.
Care. Remove faded flowers regularly to prolong flowering. Pinch long shoots for a bushier plant.
Watering and feeding. Water moderately and let the top layer dry; standing water is harmful. Feed with flowering-plant fertiliser every 1–2 weeks.
Winter care and pruning. Before frost move the container to a bright cool room (5–10 °C) and reduce watering. In spring cut shoots back by a third and put it outside again after the frosts.
