Apple tree "Cucurins"

Apple tree Cukuriņš (“Cucurins”) – a cultivar known from Latvian nurseries, with fruit that has a reddish striped blush over a light skin. A good choice for Baltic gardens where proven local cultivars are valued.

Apple trees like a sunny site, fertile loamy soil without standing water and good feeding in the first years. When planting, the root collar stays at soil level; water the tree generously afterwards and mulch. For better cropping, annual pruning and a different cultivar nearby as pollinator are helpful.
