Philadelphus coronarius "Aureus"
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Mock orange Philadelphus coronarius Aureus is a cultivar with golden-yellow foliage that lights up the garden all season, and fragrant creamy-white flowers in June. A good buy for a bright-leaved, scented shrub in part shade.
It does best in light part shade, as leaves can scorch in hot sun. It prefers fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soil. After flowering remove the oldest stems to keep the shrub young and free-flowering.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in sun or light shade, in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a hole about twice as wide as the root ball, set the plant at the same depth as in the pot and water well.
Care Water regularly in the first season, later only in long dry spells. Mulch the root zone with bark or leaf compost and in spring remove frost-damaged, old and crowded shoots.
Use Part-shade shrub groups, scented gardens and bright accents.
