About this product
Mock orange "Minnesota Snowflake" (Philadelphus) is a cultivar with large double white flowers and a sweet fragrance.
The shrub is upright, 2–3 m tall, and flowers in June to early July. The double blooms resemble snowflakes and last two to three weeks on the branches.
It was bred in Minnesota and is very hardy. It works well in hedges, group plantings and next to a terrace where the scent can be enjoyed.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot with well-drained soil. Dig the hole twice as wide as the root ball and keep the root collar level with the ground.
Care. Mulch around the base with bark or compost, 5–7 cm deep, to hold moisture and suppress weeds.
Watering and feeding. Water regularly in the first season, afterwards only in dry weather. In spring apply a balanced fertiliser for ornamental shrubs.
Winter and pruning. The plant overwinters without cover. Prune in early spring: remove frost-damaged and crowded shoots and shape the bush if you wish.
