Light and position On an east or west window or slightly back from the window; direct midday sun scorches the leaves.
Watering Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil has dried; avoid standing water and water less in winter.
Humidity and care Keep humidity at 50–60%; wipe the leaves with a damp cloth and remove dry ones.
Feeding and repotting Feed during the growing season (spring to autumn) every 2–4 weeks with a house-plant fertiliser at half strength; do not feed in winter. Repot in spring when the roots fill the pot.
