Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or September in semi-shade or sun in humus-rich, well-drained soil; space plants 25–30 cm apart.
Watering Water in dry spells; the soil should be lightly moist but never waterlogged.
Pruning After flowering remove faded blooms and lightly trim the plant if you wish.
Feeding and winter care Feed lightly in spring with a balanced fertiliser; too much reduces flowering. Flowers from April to May; height 10–15 cm. The plant is hardy and needs no winter protection.
