Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or September in a sunny spot in well-drained, rather dry, slightly alkaline soil; space plants 25–30 cm apart.
Watering Water in dry spells; the soil should be lightly moist but never waterlogged.
Pruning After flowering trim the plant back by about a third to keep the mat dense and encourage fresh growth.
Feeding and winter care Feed lightly in spring with a balanced fertiliser; too much reduces flowering. The plant is hardy and needs no winter protection.
