Agronoma ieteikumi
Planting. Plant ninebark in spring or autumn in a sunny spot. For a hedge leave 60–80 cm between plants, for a specimen 1.5–2 m. Any soil will do.
Care. Care is simple. Mulch the roots and remove weeds. In too little sun the leaves turn greenish.
Watering and feeding. Water young plants in dry spells and feed in spring with a balanced fertiliser. Mature shrubs are drought tolerant.
Winter and pruning. Right after flowering cut old stems to the base; rejuvenate the shrub in spring if needed. No winter cover is needed.
