About this product
Shrubby cinquefoil Potentilla fruticosa Lemon Meringue is a very hardy, undemanding shrub that flowers from June into autumn with pale lemon-yellow flowers. A good buy if you want a long-flowering, low-maintenance small shrub.
It grows in sun or light part shade and tolerates drought and poor soil. For strong flowering cut older stems back by a third in spring. Good for low hedges, border edging and containers. Plant supplied in a 20 cm pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in sun or light shade, in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a hole about twice as wide as the root ball, set the plant at the same depth as in the pot and water well.
Care Water regularly in the first season, later only in long dry spells. Mulch the root zone with bark or leaf compost and in spring remove frost-damaged, old and crowded shoots.
Use Low hedge, border edging, rock garden and container.
