Use. Replacement handle for an 800 g axe with a broken or loose handle.
How to use. Remove the old handle, fit the end of the new one to the axe eye, drive it in tightly and secure it with a wooden or metal wedge. Saw off the excess.
Care and storage. Keep the axe in a dry place. Oil the wood with linseed oil from time to time so it does not dry out or crack.
Safety. Before work, check that the head sits firmly on the handle. Never use a loose axe – re-wedge it first.
