About this product
Pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris) is one of the earliest perennials, opening purple bell-shaped flowers with golden-yellow stamens in spring. Buy Pulsatilla vulgaris in a 12 cm pot in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.
The plant is covered in silvery silky hairs and has finely divided, feathery leaves. After flowering, decorative fluffy seed heads follow and adorn the border into summer.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant in full sun in light, well-drained soil. Pasque flowers dislike waterlogging and transplanting – choose a permanent spot.
Watering and feeding. Water until established, later only in drought. Little feeding needed – a compost mulch in spring is enough.
Care. Leave the seed heads – they are decorative and self-seed. All parts are poisonous, wear gloves.
Winter. Hardy without cover. Make sure the soil does not stay wet in winter.
