Par preci
Tree trunk protection paste 1 kg is a mechanical protective coating that guards the trunks of fruit, deciduous and coniferous trees against gnawing by hares, elk, deer, roe deer, beavers and rodents. Buy tree trunk protection in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.
The paste is colourless and does not change the tree's appearance. After application it hardens in 1–3 hours, forming a durable protective layer that lasts several years. Protection is purely mechanical – animals cannot chew the bark.
Apply in any season in dry weather when the air temperature is at least +8 °C. Mixed with chalk (200–400 g per 1 kg) it can also be used for whitewashing fruit trees and preventing sunscald.

Agronoma ieteikumi
Planting. Before application, clean loose bark, lichen and moss off the trunk. On conifers remove the lower branches along the section to be protected.
Watering and feeding. Stir the paste thoroughly and brush an even layer onto the areas to protect, including exposed roots at ground level. No dilution is needed – work in dry weather.
Care. Wash tools and gloves with water afterwards. Check the protective layer each autumn and touch up any damaged spots.
Gardener's tip. Young fruit trees are most at risk in snowy winters, so apply the paste in September–October while temperatures are still above +8 °C.
