• Type: iron fertiliser, garden-care product (green vitriol)
• Active ingredient: iron(II) sulphate, 100% water-soluble
• Chlorosis and lawns: 0.5% – 50 g / 10 l of water (on lawns per 100 m²)
• Moss on trees: 5% – 250 g / 5 l of water, early spring or late autumn above freezing

Planting. When planting acid-loving plants (hydrangea, blueberry, rhododendron) in cases of severe iron deficiency, iron sulphate can be added to the soil as a supplementary feed – it lowers soil pH around the roots.

Watering and feeding. For chlorosis, when leaves lose their deep green colour, water or spray plants with a 0.5% solution (50 g per 10 l of water). For a greener lawn 50 g / 10 l per 100 m² is enough.

Care. Spray mossy trees with a 5% solution in early spring before bud swell or in autumn after leaf fall, above freezing. Treat mossy lawns with a 1–5% solution and scarify 7 days later.

Gardener's tip. Always start with the lowest concentration and never spray in hot, dry weather – a strong solution scorches plants. Keep splashes off wooden fences and concrete, and wear gloves and goggles.
