Radish "Acord" (Raphanus sativus) is an early-summer radish variety that resists bolting. The roots of "Acord" are round, large, white and mild in flavour, and they stay good for a long time before turning woody.
The radish matures 55–65 days after sowing and is good for fresh use and short storage. According to the supplier calendar, seeds are sown outdoors in July–August and the harvest comes in September–October.

Agronomin neuvot
Sowing. Sow seeds 1–2 cm deep in loose, well-drained soil, 3–5 cm apart with 20–25 cm between rows. Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot.
Care. Thin the seedlings to 5–8 cm. Keep the bed weed-free and cover with fleece against pests if needed.
Watering and feeding. Water evenly, as irregular moisture makes the roots split. Radish does not need heavy feeding, and too much nitrogen gives leaves rather than roots.
Harvest and storage. Pull the radish once the root is firm and ripe so it does not turn pithy. Store briefly in a cool, humid place or use fresh.
