Radish "French Breakfast 3" (Raphanus sativus) is a classic French-type radish with elongated, cylindrical roots that are bright red with a white tip. Buy "French Breakfast 3" radish seeds (Nojaus sėklos, 3 g) in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.

Agronomo patarimai
Planting. Sow directly from April to August, 1–2 cm deep, rows 10–15 cm apart. Seeds germinate from 2–4 °C, best growth at 18–20 °C. Sow every 2 weeks for a continuous crop.
Watering and feeding. Keep the soil evenly moist – in drought radishes turn hot and woody. Avoid fresh manure; radishes like fertile, loose soil.
Care. Thin seedlings to 3–5 cm when the first true leaf appears. Cover the bed with fleece in early spring to protect against flea beetles.
Gardener's tip. In midsummer long days make radishes bolt easily – the best crops come from spring and August sowings.
