Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow from early April to September 1–2 cm deep, 3–5 cm apart in rows 10–15 cm apart. Seedlings emerge in 3–5 days; sow every 10–14 days for a continuous harvest.
Care Keep the soil evenly moist, because drought and irregular watering cause cracking and a hot taste. Thin to 3–5 cm if needed and protect from flea beetles with a fleece cover.
Harvest Harvest the roots 3–5 weeks after sowing when they are 2–3 cm across; overripe radishes turn hollow and woody.
