Advice from our agronomist
Use. For replacing a worn, cracked or broken garden tool handle.
How to use. Remove the old handle, clean the socket, push the new handle firmly in and fix it with a screw or nail if the tool has a hole for it.
Care and storage. Store tools in a dry place and do not leave them out in the rain. A wooden handle can be oiled with linseed oil once a season so it does not crack or absorb moisture.
Gardener’s tip. Choose the handle length to suit your height: a longer handle lets you work with a straighter back and less fatigue.
