Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant out after the last frost in a sunny, warm, sheltered spot in free-draining, lime-rich soil or in a container, 30–40 cm apart.
Watering Water moderately, only once the top soil has dried; never let the roots stand in water.
Pruning Pinch young shoots in summer for a dense bush; trim lightly after flowering and never cut into old wood.
Feeding and winter care Feed sparingly – spring compost is enough; too much fertiliser reduces the aroma. Does not overwinter outdoors in Estonia: move to a bright, cool (5–10 °C) frost-free room in autumn and water sparingly.
