Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant out after the last frost in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil, 30 cm apart.
Watering and feeding. Water until established and during drought. Feed with a general fertiliser in early summer.
Care. Deadhead to keep it flowering into autumn. Water container plants regularly.
Winter. Short-lived: some plants overwinter, some do not. Cut stems back in autumn; seed heads left on the plant give self-sown seedlings.
