Fine, awl-shaped leaves form a dense mini lawn; in summer (June to August) the cushions are dotted with tiny white flowers.
Ideal between paving stones, in rock gardens and Japanese-style gardens and for small areas where ordinary lawn does not suit. A great choice for a velvety green carpet in sun or part shade.

Agronomo patarimai

Watering and feeding. Keep the soil evenly moist but not wet. Water regularly in hot summers, especially in sun. Feed lightly in spring.
Care. Weed the mat early. If the centre of a cushion dries out, divide the plant and replant the young pieces.
Winter. Hardy without cover. A light layer of conifer branches protects it from snowless frost and spring sun.
