Planting Plant in spring or autumn in part shade or sun in well-drained, slightly limy soil. Space rosettes 20–30 cm apart.

Pruning After flowering remove faded flower stems and dead rosettes.
Feeding and winter care Feed sparingly – lightly once in spring. Usually overwinters without cover; protect from winter wet with good drainage or a layer of grit.
