Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in March–April in pots, barely covered (it germinates in light), and plant out in May 30–40 cm apart. It can also be sown directly in the bed in May.
Care A perennial that prefers sun or partial shade and well-drained soil. Cut back in summer for fresh young leaves; give light winter cover.
Harvest Pick leaves and shoots from June to September for tea and seasoning, with the best aroma before flowering. Flowering plants attract bees.
