About this product
Bridal-wreath spirea Spiraea × vanhouttei is a spreading shrub whose arching branches are covered with white flower clusters in late May and early June. If you want to buy a spirea for a hedge or as a specimen, this is the best-known choice.
It grows in sun or part shade, is undemanding and tolerates city air. Trim lightly after flowering and renew the shrub every few years. Hardy in Estonia; good for informal hedges and shrub groups. Plant supplied in a 40 cm pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in sun or light shade, in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a hole about twice as wide as the root ball, set the plant at the same depth as in the pot and water well.
Care Water regularly in the first season, later only in long dry spells. Mulch the root zone with bark or leaf compost and in spring remove frost-damaged, old and crowded shoots.
Use Hedge, shrub group, specimen and late-spring accent.
